AIT
Advanced Individual Training
AIT is where Army soldiers learn the actual skills of their MOS. For example, 11B (Infantry) AIT is about 14 weeks; 35F (Intelligence Analyst) AIT is several months; 68W (Combat Medic) is over six months. AIT locations vary by MOS. The Army's equivalent in the Navy is A-School; in the Marines it's the MOS school.
