PCS

PCS moves are funded by the military and can happen every 2–4 years. The military pays for household goods shipment, travel per diem, and in some cases a dislocation allowance. Your first PCS typically goes from your AIT/A-School/tech school location to your first assigned unit. International PCS orders are called OCONUS (outside the continental U.S.) assignments.
