TRADOC

TRADOC (headquartered at Fort Eustis, VA) is responsible for developing all Army doctrine and running all training, from BCT to AIT to officer schools. When training standards change (such as the ACFT-to-AFT transition), TRADOC is the command that implements them. Understanding TRADOC's role explains why training changes are sometimes mandated suddenly and uniformly across the entire Army.
